Google Search Console Introduces Automatic DNS Check

September 4, 2019 by cybertrends

The Google Search Console makes it easy to verify domain ownership with a DNS record.

A new feature is available in the drop-down menu at the top of the sidebar of the search console:

The automatic verification function contains all the necessary steps, including visiting the registrar’s website, sufficient for the DNS record to include the provided confirmation token.

“Changing a DNS record can be a daunting task for some website owners. The main problem preventing them from accessing domain properties is the necessary domain verification. To solve this problem, we entered into a partnership with domain name registrars and automated part of the verification process, ”- reported google webmaster blog.

Recall that at the end of August in the Search Console appeared data on AMP traffic from Google Images.
