Google started to show labels with information about availability for products in the image search results. The innovation was noticed by industry experts. The function appeared in a search in English, German and Polish.
In the English language issue for goods in stock is displayed
green label “in stock”,
and for those items that are not in stock – a red label “out of stock”.
When a user clicks on a product with an accessibility label, he also sees the price and part of the description. A star rating and company information may also be displayed.
In order for such a label to be shown in the search results and additional information on the product to be available, appropriate markup should be added to the product pages.
